I agree with Mr_Dark unlocking for the pokedex isn't that great of an idea.

Sorry for the bad idea I get them every few years.

Why should you need to battle a Pokémon multiple time to learn new stuff about it? The PokéDex is created for the purpose of giving you all known information which has been collected by Professors (like Prof. Oak).
I remember you having to catch all the pokemon to help the professors collect information and I know that there was rewards in RBY for having a certain amount of info. I just thought that since it was an original point in the games maybe it could have some point in this one as well even if not to the level of my idea

i agree its gay to have to unlock your pokedex, but i did like the feature where it tells you when to unlock moves, that would be really handy

Sure but we're not a new region with new Pokémon, so all information has already been collected :D

Also, the only 'reward' you got was a diploma... that you don't even see through your bag, but by talking to a guy in the large 'Condo' of Celadon.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....
Also, forum notification emails are not getting in my inbox... again...

I don't think that unlockable information for pokemon in the pokedex will be a good idea.a pokedex is like a wiki not like a fighting game where u unlock new characters each time you beat the arcade mode and if you add a feature like a pokemonfinder would be cool,i mean like u choose a pokemon each time you are coming nearer to the chosen pokemon from the pokedex a message appears in the chat that'll be cool(my opinion)

and now that you say that I feel like a complete retard. It will be more of a compilation of games with a new venue and new ideas not the same old games. Well on to a new and more exciting take on the pokemon universe

Yes, as can be read here http://pokemon-universe.com/index.php?page=about:

Quote
Pokémon Universe is an online game that takes the game play of the original Pokémon games (blue, gold, diamond etc.) and turns it into a Pokémon MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game).

So it's like we take the best + our "favorite" parts and put it in one big game :D
