[PU|Suggestion] Newspaper

I was thinking about a weekly newspaper. The newspaper will have more sections like...

• Updates (Taken from the GoogleProject page)
• Week's topic
• Ask <PU Forums Member>
• Best Pokemon Images
• Special week section added

...and more!

I will start searching PU Forum Members to work at it, once a PU moderator will allow the newspaper idea.

Well... there's twitter and things are either too slow, or there are too many things to do to keep that up =/ Go figure

But for the time being, I think that the Announcements board does well that job, for the most part. And since there aren't that many members active on the forum, I would suggest looking more into it once PU is out

Indeed a Pokémon newspaper sounds nice, and I would love to join it but maybe once the game is out.

So the newspaper is a 1/2 allowed...

Then the PU Forum Newspaper will be released after PU is out.Untill then I will search some people. Who wants to enter the newspaper PM me.

This is actually a pretty good idea.  As of now it's pointless though.  Once the game is released I could see a lot of types of articles run.

I would love to see info for new trainers.  And a column on competitive battling.

I'd be willing to help out on either of these. 


Oh, and if this does happen we should have a grammar and spelling test/thing.  I wouldn't want to turn out a piece of crap.

I guess I'm saying that all writers should know basic grammar and spelling, as well as correct typing procedure.

I figured it could be done by email.  Or a thread on the forum where we post a link for download.

Anyway, I actually do like this concept. It'd be a great way to get players involved in the game, and to alert players of upcoming events when they're too lazy to check the website. Have it be an item you can pick up in the Pokemart or whatever, and sometimes leave hints inside as to where you could get a valuable item or rare pokemon that likes to migrate.

I've made a winRAR example.

1. Extart the files
2. Open Newspaper Example.ink
3. Press the "View the newspaper" button.
4. You will be redirected to a link...

I know it doesn't look very good but it's the 1st version...I will update it in time.

An in-game newspaper could not be available, because, I don't have permission to view the client's source and edit it, so I will make the website newspaper. I will extract what's the most important things and me and my team will add something intresting in it.

About the lazy members...If they are lazy they cannot even read...

EDIT: OK, I did what you said, and all it did was take me back to the PU homepage. So, a txt file or a post would be better.
