Is that really such a bad thing though? At the very least, it is more members.

For pokemon nicknames, I have a ton of favorites, like "Fiori" for my Typhlosion, "Claire" (as in Clair de Lune) for my Musharna, "Soleil" (both as in Cirque du Soleil and "sun") for my Simisear, Zia ("illuminating" or "light") for my Ampharos, etc etc...
Nicknaming pokemon is quite fun. Anybody else here nickname at least a few of their pokemon, or even better, nickname consistently?

Claire de Lune by Debussy? I love that piece by him. Oh man, now I have to find a vid....

............

GOT IT: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LlvUepMa31o

I did a biography on Debussy in my music appreciation course, and I highlighted Claire de Lune in that paper.

Thanks for posting the link! =u= Such a beautiful song. This and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata are my favorites....
Did you choose Debussy, or was he assigned? Either way, thumbs up for highlighting this piece!

Chose. When it comes to anything orchestra, I have a very fine tuned ear. Now I want to play some la suerte de los tontos on my sax, and maybe write out Little Fugue in G by ear. I just love music.

^ ^ very cool! ^ ^ I seriously wish I could play an instrument, but listening and enjoying it is good enough I guess. La suerte de los tontos...? I haven't heard of that...

The original composer was Stan Kenton, but I believe I played an arrangement by Victor Lopez. It's latin jazz.

since it was something for the sax, I was hoping it was jazz...
Hmm... This sounds pretty decent... but it' probably feel a bit better if it weren't a h.s. jazz band...
Do you have a good link of what it's supposed to sound like?

Sorry to butt in.  But, I was going to sleep and up popped this thread as new.  So I looked and I noticed Cortex's new saying and, It's quite true.

Also it's a sweet composition.

Neither had I. Then again I wouldn't know anything about it (the drinking quote).

As far as music goes, according to some people I have strange tastes in music--the majority of people I know are the type who think classical is for old people.
I can't say I get as deep into music as some, like Cortex seems to, though.  Maybe I should take a music appreciation/theory course....
