To import from Pokémon DS versions they first need to be transferred to Black/White and then you need to buy a year subscription for the Pokébank to be able to use the transfer system to import to your 3ds file.
Regarding the Diancie event. I attempted to get a code at the two stores that have it. One of them would only give it to me if I actually bought Pokémon X or Y OR preodered OR/AS at their store. Well, you pretty much know my answer to that. It's abuse of events which are supposed to be free for everyone. The other store ordered the vouchers three months ago but never received anything and therefore couldn't give me a voucher with the code.
Gonna try some other stores some other time I guess... Though I call bullpoop on this event. :/

I went to my local gamestore the other day. And they asked me if I came for the beta code. But I didn't have my 3ds with me that day.

I also go for the wii u version. it's great that the game is now playable on a portable console and all, but I kinda passed that kind of state already. I know I have more fun games to play when I'm traveling than SSB.

I noticed some of the characters have huge ending lag ,but I think this will be corrected in the Wii-U version. Greninja's aerial smash attacks have weird ending lag on them ,but his animations look smoother in what we have
Games in beta tend to be very large files compared to the final product. This is because one of the final touches is cleaning up the code by reducing it where it can be done without screwing up the game. Or replace it with something more compact. (It's the reason sonic '06 needs a very long time to load... The game was pretty much a rush job, so they didn't clean up the code.) However, I've already noticed that a few games are really pushing the limits of the 3ds. I am not the only one who gets lag during a Pokémon battle when the game gets at a certain camera angle in Pokémon Y. And I've heard people about the newest Monster Hunter having a few lag issues too. Nintendo's already introduced a 3DS with a bigger processor power. Which is meant for the "Hardcore Gamers". And it would probably their "fix" for the lag issues some of the games have.

Not sure if you ever used it, but it left a black bar which covered your text until you moved your mouse over it. At least that is how I remember the spoiler-tag on this site.

I "missed" a statue of Ganondorf (Windwaker) which apparently had a worth of 70 euros. .w.; And something about a collectors pack for Starcraft II heart of the Swarm.
But pre-ordering in general grants you more customer-points than just buying a game. Once you reach a certain amount you get a discount voucher. It kinda balances out that usually the shop is a tad more expensive than any other store selling the same games.

Awesome, I'm still waiting for the preorder bonus Game Mania has planned for ORAS. (The shopkeeper always gets disappointed when I tell him I didn't pre-order, but still buy a game on the release. Constantly prodding me with the preorder bonuses people get... ¬w¬; )
