Lucky lucky me!!! On my SoulSilver newer file, i got not only a Shiny Cyndaquil on first try, but also the Eevee Bill gave me was Shiny, along with a Shiny Togepi from the Egg.... AND on the Pokewalker, i got the Yellow Forest Event, and i caught 2 female Shiny Pikachu both lvl 10 w/ the same nature, right after each other!!! (along with a very non-interesting male LV 10 Pikachu) i dunno why but that still blows my mind!!!

Hmm to many Shiny's to belive that because the odds of finding one in the wild are 1 to 8192.
Anyways on pokemon Fire Red i encountered a green Mewtwo in the cave but i didn't catch it :(

Um... you could have kept a masterball in your bag... try not to use it as far as possible, but only on shinys which are hard to catch (that is they get out of the pokeballs easily or run, or use self damaging moves like curse, explosion/selfdestruct if you are not sure of catching the shiny quickly)

Mine was the Lucky Egg I got in my Fire Red in Safari Zone (there was a problem which trading it, and the lucky egg was lost T.T), then the shiny Machoke I got in my Platinum, and most recently, the Lucky Egg I got in Platinum which is still there.
No one can go back and change a bad beginning; but anyone can start now and create a successful ending.
If a problem can be solved, no need to worry about it. If it cannot be solved what is the use of worrying?

Currently playing Pokemon XY/ORAS/Shuffle and Clash of Clans and testing out PokemonRevolutionOnline and Dragonmon Hunter....

Is it just me, or is everyone's luckiest moment catching a shiny Pokemon?

I don't care about your shiny's anymore! >:(
(By the way, I'm mad because I've never seen or caught one in the wild)

I used to be a noob player at Pokemon.  I wouldn't save the game before fighting the legendaries.  So anyways, here I am in Unkown Dungeon fighting Mewtwo with just one Great Ball.  I caught it at half health.

On Pokemon Stadium 2, I took all of Lance's Pokemon out with my Kingdra.

I found a large number of colored Pokemon on second Generation.  As already mentioned, shiny Pokemon aren't special.

The other day I was playing my Gold Version. I took on Ho-oh and weakened him quite a bit. I then threw a fast ball at him and caught him with the first one.

Catching mewtwo with a single pokeball at full health?
I never get shiny pokemon and some of them look really stupid anyway, like giratina.
I tihnk I saw a shiny linoone once, but it ran so it didnt help my disdain for them.
The thrill in playing a game does not come from our chances of winning. It is the weight and pressure of losing that fuels our fascination. It is why people challenge, why they gamble and why they compete. The adrenaline that comes from defying defeat is what motivates us.

Had to be on Fire Red when I encountered Mewtwo for the first time. Weakened it, and caught it with the very first Ultra Ball I threw at it. I had bought about 80 of them in advance because I was ready for a long battle. xD
Another time would have to be in Sapphire when I went after Kyogre. Wasn't ready AT ALL for that battle; had barely any pokeballs on me at all, let alone good ones that could reasonably catch it. Depleted everything except one Net Ball, threw it and got lucky. :)

All you lucky guys and your shinies... the only one I've EVER seen was a HootHoot in Crystal, and that was right after Cherrygrove before I had any pokeballs at all. :(

When I was at the GTS I traded a Pokemon for a Spiritomb (I forgot what Pokemon) when I got it,

it currently had Pokerus and gave it to all my Pokemon (it was in the middle of the game to) on my

Platinum.  ;D
The terrifying transformation...
