I think I may try this out only I think I may change some of these rules a bit.
Rules I'll follow:
1.You must catch the first pokemon you see in an area. If it faints or you have to run, you may not catch a pokemon from that area. Move on and cry about your failure. (Routes, caves, forests, buildings. Basically any new area you've yet to explore.). Also, you may receive pokemon as gifts from NPCs but, you may not make any trades with them.
2. You may use Pokémon centers and items to heal, no buying items though.
3. Once you've started a route, cave, forest, anything. You must finish it. No turning back to heal.
4. If a Pokémon faints, you must release it. It's dead, get over it.
5. Pokemon must evolve when they can, no saving for a certain move. Also if you find a stone/item to evolve a pokemon of yours, you must use it. (Exception if you must trade a pokemon to evolve it. Unless you have someone to trade with.)
6. Six pokemon are allowed to be owned at one time. If you own six, no more may be caught. A pokemon that faints is dead, and must be released
7. At each market, you can only buy 10 of any Pokéball at a time. This means, if a store has poke, great and ultra, you can only have 10 in total. Any Pokéballs found in the field are fair game, and do not count towards the total.
8. You may only purchase full restores before starting the elite 4, but you may only have a total of 10.
9. The item max revive can only be used to revive a "dead" Pokémon on your team. Dead pokemon are dead.
10. You may use healing items you find in battle, no held items. (Exception for Elite 4 battles.)
11. You can't use TMs at all. You may use HMs, as they are necessary for the story.
12. You can't use a legendary Pokémon. That is a no-no for this challenge. (Seriously, legends are for pansies anyway.)
13. All pokemon must have nick-names. It makes you closer to them. So don't let them die.

Cyrus walked outside a bit late. He had decided to wait a bit before showing up, he didn't need to actually participate -unless wrench wanted him to.
As he walked out and saw the battles taking place.
"Huh... Amateurs, they'd all be dead in an actual fight. Come on Ualgarg, lets check in. Also I want to find Wrench if I can."
Cyrus started moving around the fights, looking for someone to check in with.

"Attention, the training room will now be closed for the rest of the day."
Cyrus heard the announcement and kept on walking to the mess hall.
"Well Ualgarg, looks like we won't do any training today, but lets hurry to the mess hall. I'm beginning to actually get a bit hungry."
Upon arriving in the mess hall Cyrus overheard another announcement. But, this one was a little different.
"May I have everyone's attention. My name is Archie, and I'm the combat instructor. Due to a recent incident, your combat evaluation was postponed. However, now that the incident is resolved, we will commence the evaluation outside. Any and all recruits interested please head to the main entrance. I will be waiting."
Cyrus turned to leave the mess hall, eating was out of the picture for now.
"Ualgarg, you can stay and eat if you want. But, I think attending this would be a good idea for myself."
Cyrus turned and started walking out of the mess hall.

I looked at my hands, they were already feeling about a million times better.
"Ualgarg need more training, Salreth want results... Bleh! Females!"
"Tell me about it buddy, women never make any sense. But if you want to get stronger, I could help in that. I know a thing or two about all walks of combat, tactics and strategies. Ways to close gaps and ways to make them. Though judging by your power, mid-ranged attacks and close quarters with those claws would be deadly... Which is kind of similar to my own combat style. You see I like to use ranged attacks to distract enemies while I move in for lethal strikes. Also, if you could use that napalm at a distance, you could be quite the support fighter."

"Well I do have an agenda. It doesn't involve killing you, if that's what you're worried about. My agenda involves Utopia and it's ignorant residents and corrupt leaders. They must pay for their crimes against me... With blood. So unless you get in my way, you have nothing to fear. "Oh is that all. Well you see it's simple. I was just following orders back then. I'm sorry about your leg, but, you see... It was unavoidable. As to why I'm here it's simple as well. I'm no longer a paladin. As I said before, not killing you meant I failed my mission. The Higher-ups decided I wasn't an asset anymore. I was attacked by the people I had grown up with. My mother was killed in the escape, and now I"m here, thanks to a dumb would be rebel -Whose letter I stole... Also for your reassurance, I no longer follow orders from anyone. Except myself."
I thought that explanation might finally seep into his thick metal head.

I turned to look as the mteal brat tripped and fell down. He then got up and spoke.
"Hey, I have a few questions, Paladin."
I looked at him and said the only thought that came into my head.
"Can you please tell me, what the hell are you doing?"
I thought to myself. Hey, if I can make a friend out of someone I tried to kill, then Wrench will have to get this stupid thing off of me.

"What's Cyrus' ability?"
"Well, my ability is a sort of Ice bending. I can create ice out of moisture in the air, or water. Mostly I use it combined with my training to form spikes, swords and other assortment of weapons. But, I can use it for other things. I can drop temperatures in rooms by sucking out the heat, using ice to do so. So what's your ability? I'll bet it has something to do with fire, hence your burns."

It seems I may have made a friend. Which was perfect for earning trust and getting this blasted collar removed.

As I was leaving the Infirmary. I almost ran into a frightened Catgirl. I noticed she was without the metal brat, which I thought was odd.

I watched as Urusu, treated Ualgarg's burns.
To tell you the truth, I had one. But, she died helping me escape. I guess it's pretty safe to say I'm alone with my ideals, for now at least.
Ualgarg seemed impressed with the medicine. I looked at both of them and spoke.
"Well, I'll take my leave for now. I need to find Wrench and get this collar either removed or turned off, I'd like to do some training."

"Yes, I used to live in Utopia. It was a good life, I trained everyday and went on missions. Heh... Heh... It's a shame that Utopia must fall, cause really it wasn't a bad place. Until they decided I had failed them. They tried to have me killed. It was strange seeing sparring partners and people I've known for a long time chasing and attacking me... But, you're from the wastes right? I bet that was a hard life."
Again, friendly words seeped out. Maybe I was losing my killer edge. But, one thing was sure. If I wanted this dam collar off. I need trust.

Wrench isn't sure if he can trust me yet. So, I'm stuck wearing it for now. But, moving on. You seem to be a doctor, that sounds rather interesting. Since I've only ever dealt pain, I've never healed it."
The words seemed out of place as they left my lips. I mean me, Cyrus, caring about someone's burns. Impossible? But then again. I'd never cared for my mother before, and she was the reason I'm on this mission of revenge.
I felt sickened, because, these words almost seemed genuine.
Breaking my chain of thought.
"So how do you guys feel about having an Ex-Paladin walking around?"
