The main plot is ALWAYS: Evil Team [insert name] is trying to take over the world with legendary Pokemon, [insert new legendaries]! Player battles Evil Team single handedly in large building, while Team Grunts are defeated one by one and totally don't mind if you have to leave and heal your Pokemon half way through, they'll wait for you to finish whenever you like. You defeat them just before they succeed in taking over the world etc. Lol. I thought it was to become a Pokemon Masta!!!!111! But, the above is just so true. Don't forget about the mandatory warp mats/puzzles/doors-with-buttons-on-other-floors!

I'm trying to learn more of the 'technical' skills of PS CS3. Even though I already rock with colored pencils.

We all have some gripes about the games. The rival's type advantage, the ugly [insert new Pokemon here], the lack of luster in the NPC's dialogue.... What did yah'll hate about the games? (Explain why if possible) - I hated (in the earlier) games the fact that one couldn't re-battled a trainer. Battling wild Pokemon didn't get me anything other then exp. Well, unless you had a Meowth. >.> And even then it wasn't as much as a trained Pokemon.

What if our internet connection experiences problems during a PVP battle and we get kicked off the game? Will the server recognize that as quitting and punish us? How about, instead of punishing everyone, the system leaves the punishing up to the trainer that stayed. The trainer could chose to "Punish" or "Forgive" the other.

I agree, but if we would have all these themes, the main theme would be lost (like lots of specific forums). And as written before, some themes like Politic are boring for lots of users. Well, thats only my opinion. Oh I quite agree. Politics are extremely boring. -_- And well, not if the Team...titles it the correct way. Like: Artwork: Pokemon Related Pokemon Universe Related Non-Pokemon Related or Writing: Pokemon Related Pokemon Universe Related (for all those story plot writers out there) Original Book Discussions--or something of that nature

This is Pokemon-Universe. The forum should be about Pokemon. There are lots of specific forums that have non-related categories for the members. Forums turn into more of a community as they grow, drawing people in for the member base, topics, and overall theme. I like NinjaBlaze's topics, especially the Artwork, Creative Writing, and Anime ones. If the inactive members see more stuff to talk about, then it might motivate them to post more. I don't think a big boom in member activity will occur until the game is released. So until then, let us (active) members help by creating some really interesting forum topics, via more categories.

I thought of that actually, but wasn't sure if it would be fair. >.> I was mostly thinking just to make things more unique, but... (hypothetically): The Traveler Title could allowed the player to run faster than someone without it. The Collector Title could seriously boost the the player's chances of catching a Pokemon with higher health/level, or with a weaker Pokeball. The Pro Trainer could almost always insure the player the first move in a Pokemon Battle. Well, unless he/she was playing someone else with the Pro Trainer Title.

How about a list of Titles that'll go over/under the player's name for reaching certain criteria? Of course, only one would be available to use at a time.
[Title] Player's Name, or Player's Name [the Title]
Like:
Explorer: For Exploring X number of caves, forests, towns, ect.
Traveler: For taking X (something large) number of steps.
Pokemon Master: Self-explanatory
Breeder: Having X amount of eggs hatch from owned Pokemon. (This is rolling with the Daycare idea)
Pro Trainer: Completing X number of battles without losing once.
Pokemon Expert: Seen over X amount of Pokemon.
Collector: Caught over X amount of Pokemon.
Coordinator: Won X amount of Pokemon Contests. (Rolling with the Pokemon Contests Idea)
Eevee[Insert Pokemon] Maniac: Caught X number of Y Pokemon.
Socialite: Have X number of friends.
Etc.
Or have a group that you can only get after completing certain quests. The player could receive the Title from the quest giver, or get a message from Mom/Professor/Whatever about it.

More categories. As it is right now, everything's kinda put under really general Topics.

That would be a cool thing to add as well, however, considering your character wouldn't exactly be expressing much dialogue. Maybe it would only be for aesthetic purposes? Hm...maybe if we get a couple quests that are more...dialogue oriented? ---- NPC: "Whad you say?" You: -->Repeat previous sentence -->Say nothing -->Act confused -->Cuss NPC out ---- xD

Ah I see. Pardon if I sounded like a nitpick.

The rock/bush shadows in the first picture. They indicate that the sun is hitting them at an angle, but the other trees indicate that the sun is hitting them from directly above. (It's a small gripe, but it might help overall.)

Yeah, it'd probably be easy on you as well. xD

*Forest shadows may need to be larger I'm unsure if this refers to below in that you're already aware of it. :\ Another thing I noticed was with the Christmas trees in the second picture. (In both actually, but it's more noticeable in the second) If you look at the trees to the left of the Pokemon Center, you can clearly see vertical lines running in between them. I figured it was the shadows and squished branches that caused this. The branches towards the bottom look cutoff (or really, really close to it), but I think the easiest way to fix it is to just somehow complete the tree's shadows.

I'd travel all over the world. The occasional Pokemon battle/Gym battle would keep my (relatively small) team in shape. While traveling, I'd try to see as many Pokemon as I could, and maybe look into some of the mysteries of the Pokemon world as well.
